Typical Chinese diet and some easy recipes I could make in a slow cooker?

I'm really into Chinese food, and I also want to keep my weight down. Can anyone help me plan how to eat a Chinese diet (I already have the Congee down) with some recipes?

Also, I've just bought a slow cooker (crock pot?) so if anyone has any recipes which can be easily made in it, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks for reading.Typical Chinese diet and some easy recipes I could make in a slow cooker?

I was under the impression that most Chinese food was cut small, cooked fast.

I use my own slow cooker quite a lot. I seal what ever meat I'm using in a pan, usually with no fat till it browns a little, then place in cooker with cut up vegetables ie onion, carrots, butternut squash or what ever you fancy. A little water or stock, I usually find it doesn't need much as it seems to make its own. Cook for several hoursTypical Chinese diet and some easy recipes I could make in a slow cooker?
Most Chinese food is cooked very quickly in hot oil. Dim Sum and a few other dishes are cooked in a steamer, but I have no recipes which would be suitable for cooking in a crock pot.
