Does anyone know where to get recipes Chinese food?

I love Chinese food especially buffet food. Can anyone tell me where to get recipes of Sauteed string beans, sauteed mushroom, orange chicken and many other.... :)

I bought the book "Chinese Home Cooking" by Helen Chen. It's a great book and all the recipes are adapted for home preparation. You can find the book at Borders bookstore.

Beef stir-fry with asparagus



2 tbsp peanut oil

6 cloves garlic, minced

1 lb beef, sirloin

1 tsp soy sauce

2 tbsp fish sauce

1 tbsp oyster sauce

2 tsp sugar

陆 cup beef broth

1 tsp cornstarch, dissolved

4 large green onions, chopped into bite size pieces

1 lb asparagus, fresh

Crushed red pepper, to taste



Blanch asparagus and set aside, along with green onions.



Heat a large skillet, add peanut oil and beef to cook. Add sauces, sugar, broth.



Add asparagus and onions, stirring together till mixed. Add corn starch and stir until thickened.



Ginger Chicken/Shrimp Stir-Fry with Sesame Noodles



1 lbs. spaghetti

3 tablespoons vegetable oil/peanut oil

戮 lbs chicken breast or 1 lb shrimp

1 small head or 陆 large head Napa cabbage, shredded (about 4 cups)

1 bunch scallions, chopped into 2-inch pieces

Shiitake mushrooms, stemmed and thinly sliced

6 cloves garlic, finely chopped

1 tablespoon of fresh ginger

1 teaspoon course black pepper

1/3 cup soy sauce

2 tablespoons sesame oil

2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds



1) Bring a large pot of water to a boil, salt it, add the spaghetti and cook until al dente. Drain.

2) While the pasta is working, in a large nonstick skillet, heat the oil over high heat until rippling. Add the chicken/shrimp and stir-fry until golden, 3-4 minutes or until done. Add the cabbage, scallions, mushrooms, garlic and ginger and stir-fry for 2 minutes. Season with a little salt and the pepper and keep warm.

3) In a large bowl, combine the soy sauce and sesame oil. Stir in the spaghetti and toss to coat. Sprinkle the sesame seeds on top. Using tongs, serve the pasta in bowls and top with the chicken stir-fry.



Ginger-Garlic Shrimp



1 陆 tsp salt

1 陆 lbs peeled, deveined shrimp (31 to 40 per lb.; tails on)

2 tbsp vegetable oil

8 quarter-size slices peeled ginger

3 tbsp minced garlic

3 tbsp Chinese rice cooking wine

4 green onions, ends trimmed, finely sliced



In a bowl, sprinkle 1 陆 tsp salt over shrimp and mix gently with your hands, about 1 minutes. Pour shrimp into a colander and rinse well with cool water.



Pour oil into a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add ginger and garlic and stir until they sizzle, about 30 seconds.



Add shrimp and rice wine; stir constantly until the shrimp are almost all pink on the outside, about 2 minutes. Add the green onions and stir just until shrimp are opaque in the center, about 1 minute.Does anyone know where to get recipes Chinese food?
