I need to make an easy chinese food for school. I don't want to make anything fancy or anything with meat in it. I can't make rice either. Who knows any foods I can easily make and they can be eaten at room temperature??
Thanks!Easy chinese recipes?

Desert? I don't consider it fancy, but i don't know how old you are and if you know how to fry food...
you could make some sesame seed balls. it may sound a little daunting but trust me it's easy and taste pretty good:
written recipe: http://chinesefood.about.com/od/desserts鈥?/a>
(the recipe says its hard but it isn't, just use or fork or something and bob them in the oil until they flip over.... don't know why they said that was hard)
here is a youtube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fDWR-erwg鈥?/a>
ORRR you could make stirfry but replace the meat with cubbed firm tofu... add in some juliened bell peppers and onion (and whatever other veggie you want, watercress, bok choy, bean sprouts...), i make a 'sauce' out of about a tablespoon of soy sauce, a table spoon of corn starch all mixed in about a cup of cold water. (the corn starch is to make sure the soy sauce sitck to everything). then (if you want) sprinkle toasted seasame seeds on top of everything (you can buy it in a shaker at the grocery store..)Easy chinese recipes?

Instructions
Cook 2 bundles of rice noodles as per pack instructions and put to one side, keeping warm.
Heat the vegetable oil in a wok and stir fry the finely chopped garlic, lemongrass and ginger for 1 min.
Now add the sliced celery stick, baton sized carrots slices, asparagus in 2 cm pieces, baby corn (halved) and red pepper (sliced), stir frying for 6 鈥?8 mins.
Finally add the kale, sliced spring onions along with the sesame oil, soy sauce and honey mixing all the ingredients thoroughly.
Serve on the top of noodles or mix them with them to serve, according to your preference.
No meat, no rice and nothing fancy at room temperature leaves only vegetable. Buy some Chinese green vegetable, e.g. bok choy, along with a few cloves of garlic. Heat some canola or peanut oil in high heat, stir in some minced garlic then the cut vegetables right away, stir constantly until tender, add a little salt and serve.
