Does anyone have the Chinese Restaurant recipe for the red dipping sauce provided with the hot yellow mustard?

(I'm re-asking because I couldn't edit my previous question and folks thought it was sweet and sour or one of the thin dipping sauces.)

Does anyone have the Chinese Restaurant recipe for the red dipping sauce provided with the hot yellow mustard?

I've tried ketchup and corn syrup. I've tried ketchup, corn syrup and horseradish, which made a passable cocktail sauce. Something's missing. I make really good homemade BBQ pork and the yellow mustard is no problem, but how I long for the red sauce!

...this isn't a sweet and sour sauce and it's not thin and transparent. It looks like ketchup. It tastes like ketchup magically enhanced and the recipe seems to be the same everywhere. It's the consistency of ketchup. I know different restaurants serve different sauces, but this one seems to always come with the BBQ pork slices.Does anyone have the Chinese Restaurant recipe for the red dipping sauce provided with the hot yellow mustard?

You can add red food coloring to this if you really want it red...

Duck Sauce

5 cups coarsely chopped canned mixed fruit cocktail

1 cup water

3/4 cup apple juice

1 tsp. soy sauce

1 Tbsp. apricot preserves

1/2 cup packed light brown sugar

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp dry mustard

Place fruit in a stock pot over medium high heat. Add

water, apple juice, soy sauce, apricot preserves, brown

sugar, garlic powder, and dry mustard. Bring to a simmer,

stirring frequently to dissolve brown sugar. Reduce heat, and

continue simmering for 40 minutes, or until fruit is completely

soft. Remove from heat and allow to cool.

Blend sauce in a food processor or blender until

completely smooth, adjusting consistency with additional water,

if desired. Cover, and refrigerate until ready to use.

At first I thought you meant the plum sauce, but then I realized it's the Chinese BBQ sauce. I found some recipes for you. The first link has 2 recipes.
Most of the red sauce you get with the mustard are out of a jar.

If it has seeds, it's probably chili sauce:

If it doesn't have seeds, but is thick and brighter red than ketchup, it's probably sriracha sauce:
