Hi I'm trying to figure out how to blend some of these ingredients together for supper tonight...I have an idea but I'm still not sure as I'm still learning to use some of them. but here is a list of some of the ingredients I have....
Sesame oil, chinese 5 spice, rice vinagar, curry powder, fish sauce, oyster sauce, green pepper, celery, garlic, carrots, onion. alont with some pork stewing meat.
Any ideas on how to bring this together?Any Chinese recipes using pork stewing meat with the following ingredients...?
Personally, I avoid curry powder (Thai or Indian) %26amp; fish sauce (Thai %26amp; Vietnamese) when cooking Chinese foods.
You can make a nice pork stew using only water, 5-spice powder, oyster sauce (soy sauce is better, more plain), sugar %26amp; a few garlic cloves.
Stir fry the garlic, green pepper, celery %26amp; carrot, seasoned only with salt, pepper %26amp; a few drops of sesame oil.Any Chinese recipes using pork stewing meat with the following ingredients...?
thow the meat in with a little oil (not sesame) and brown
pull out
throw the veggies with spices and cook until they start wilting/get soft
throw the meat back in, put some sesame oil, fish sauce, soy sauce, and any other sauces you want to your taste, cover and let the meat cook through.
